Lightronics obtains ISO standards 14001 and 45001!
Within Lightronics, quality, sustainability and healthy and safe working are highly valued. The ISO standards support us in the continuous development of these core values. We are therefore proud to mention that Lightronics, in addition to the quality standard ISO 9001, has now also obtained the certificates for environmental standard ISO 14001 and occupational health and safety standard ISO 45001.
Lightronics delivers luminaires for world's largest solar carport
Lightronics delivers luminaires for the largest solar carport in the world at car park festival Lowlands. Lightronics will deliver over 3,000 PGA II fixtures for the lighting of the largest solar carport in the world. The solar park on the car park of the Lowlands festival in Biddinghuizen is 35 hectares large and has room for about 15,000 cars.
First Zhaga-D4i certification for Lightronics' luminaires
Lightronics takes a new step in the development of future-proof LED lighting. A number of luminaires is now Zhaga-D4i certified. This means that these fixtures can communicate with all sensors and nodes that also have a Zhaga-D4i certificate, and are therefore suitable for the latest developments in the field of smart lighting and connectivity.
We are proud to announce in the Week of Circular Economy that Lightronics managed to reduce its CO₂ footprint in 2020 by 63% compared to 2019. This brings us closer every year to our ambition of being able to produce our lighting completely CO₂ neutral.
As of 1 March 2021, Lightronics will supply its extremely impact-resistant lighting only with a LED light source. These luminaires are mainly used in tunnels and subways. For each of the T5, T8 and TC-L versions of these fixtures an LED alternative is available.
We have worked extremely hard in recent weeks to completely eliminate the backlog that had built up. With the fantastic efforts of our team and the additional help of staff from local catering companies, we will continue to produce at full speed in the coming period.
