Lightronics obtains ISO standards 14001 and 45001!
Within Lightronics, quality, sustainability and healthy and safe working are highly valued. The ISO standards support us in the continuous development of these core values. We are therefore proud to mention that Lightronics, in addition to the quality standard ISO 9001, has now also obtained the certificates for environmental standard ISO 14001 and occupational health and safety standard ISO 45001.
What do these standards mean?
ISO 14001:2015
This standard for an environmental management system connects seamlessly to social themes such as Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and circular economy. Something Lightronics is already working on. The system allows us to better manage and continuously improve our environmental performance and environmental responsibilities. The environmental policy is now fully integrated into the daily operations and we are even better able to achieve our sustainable ambitions.
ISO 45001:2015
ISO 45001 stands for healthy and safe working. This standard helps Lightronics to improve working conditions. It also increases awareness of laws and regulations, Risk Inventory and Evaluation, emergency response and employee satisfaction. This makes our employees even more central to achieving our sustainability ambitions.
