In addition to our passion for the right lighting solution, we also like to contribute in a positive way to society. For example, we are committed to generating social value by providing employment for people with poor employment prospects. We collaborate with ‘Baanbrekers’ in this area. To help build a green future, we plant 1000 trees every year. In addition to producing sustainable luminaires, we have installed 700 solar panels on our roof to make our manufacturing processes energy-neutral.

CEDER, the word for Cedar tree in Dutch, has been carefully chosen as the name for Lightronics’ new conical luminaire. The Cedar tree, a hardy survivor, symbolises Lightronics’ vision on sustainability. The core values of that vision include corporate social responsibility, social value, circularity, social safety and quality.
