The Lumière Park is a park in the Filmwijk area of Almere City. The park is situated on the eastern bank of the Weerwater. The name of the park is derived from Louis Lumière, an inventor in the field of film. The northern part of the Lumière Park is an urban park with rows of trees and meadows overlooking the Weerwater.
Around the Weerwater a wide track will be laid in phases for walking, running, rollerblading and so on. Construction of the track started in Lumière Park at the end of 2017. The total construction of the Rondje Weerwater will continue until 2026. Last year the track in the Lumière Park was given a top layer of blue asphalt. This first part of the track is now as good as finished.
Lightronics has developed the PRUNUS F in consultation with the municipality of Almere. In the Lumierepark PRUNUS F1 fixtures are placed in RAL9007 with an RGB LED ring. The luminaires have a colour temperature of 3000K (warm white) and are set at 1350 lumens.
