The Groningen municipality of Loppersum implemented a master plan in 2018 to make the village future-proof.
Part of this plan is the redesign of the entire public space in the center of the village. At the heart of the village center is the church with the adjacent market square. This square forms the heart of the village. With the redesign of the square, the terrace of the brasserie has been taken into account. The number of parking spaces has been reduced and the weekly market has been taken into account.
Lightronics has supplied characteristic SGR luminaires for the market square and residential streets. The LED pole top fixtures are set at 2150 lumens and have a color temperature of 3000K (warm white).
