Village road - Twisk

In close consultation with residents, the municipality of Medemblik has installed eighty OGR luminaires in Twisk. The luminaires bring together the best of both worlds: a classic look with modern LED lighting technology.

Twisk is a protected village area, which is why the municipality wanted to install a decorative and nostalgic light source. Following a suggestion from residents, the OGR was chosen. The luminaires are fitted with energy-efficient LEDs and a dimming regime.

"The OGR luminaires give the Dorpsweg a classic look, exactly as our residents wanted. It is an enrichment for the village. It is also important that we combine the nostalgic look with modern lighting technology that saves energy."
